Ways to Make Money Online

There are lots of ways to make money online -- here are some ideas to get you started.

Affiliate products. As an affiliate, you sell someone else's product for a percentage of
the sale, and they take care of the rest. It's a risk-free way to make money online,
because all you have to do is sell the product -- you don't have to worry about stocking,
shipping or anything else.

Sell a service. The Internet is the ideal place to make money online by selling a service.
Whether you deliver your service locally or via the Internet, you can easily make money
online selling your service. Think of what you're good at, and then build a simple website
to sell your service.

Electronic products. If you are serious about making money online, consider selling a
downloadable electronic product. The beauty of electronic products is once they're
created, you can make money online selling them over and over, without any additional
cost to you! Consider writing an eBook on a subject you have unique knowledge on
(and EVERYONE has something they're good at!) and make money online marketing
your eBook to a niche market.
An excellent business owner is...OPEN

A business in our town frequently sports a sign that says, "I'm just gone!"

An interesting thing occurs when a door is closed... especial during normal expected
business hours... nothing gets in-no people, no business, and no money.

But physical doors are not the only thing that restricts growth. Mental doors are more
constricting than doors on a building.

It's easy for us as entrepreneurs to be closed... closed to ideas... closed to help... closed
to the idea of being wrong. I hate being wrong; it just isn't right!

We would do well to turn our emotional closed signs over and proclaim ourselves OPEN. It
may be just an observation, but I notice that open people are more successful; they get
through problems better with the help of others; they increase business, because they are
open to customer feedback; and they are liked by more people.

People that are liked tend to get what they need.

Try these painfully simple exercises this week to make yourself more open:

  1. Identify one problem you have in your business and ask someone for help.
  2. Listen to everyone's ideas on your team, regardless of status or position.
  3. Ask a customer what they like about your product or service and what they think
you could do to improve it.

Be in Business on Purpose

Many business ventures today are a result of cumulative reactions. The typical result of
reactionary management is that the company tends to fulfill no real purpose, have no real
direction, nor have any real goals. It becomes a routine embedded in survival. Define your
purpose. Do things on purpose. Be about a higher purpose.

Take your stamp and a pack of post it
notes everywhere you go. Put your
custom post it on car windows, on the
doors of local.
Spend a day visiting libraries and
bookstores in your local area and find
the section that relates to your
business, i.e., directories, reference
books, magazines, self-help, etc.  Open
each publication and slip a business
card between the pages! Voila! A dirt-
cheap targeted marketing campaign!
You can use this same technique with
the magazines in salons, doctor’s
offices, and other waiting rooms (you’ve
nothing better to do while you’re
waiting, you might as well use the time
to your advantage).
Get some door hangers printed up with
your business information on it, or
better still, get some less expensive
rack cards made, hole-punch them,
and rubber band attach them to as
many hotel room doors as possible!
Use your own yard to advertise your
business.  Instead of a “For Sale” sign
in your backyard, you could be making
use of this space to advertise your own
business.
Make your yard a home for your
business promotions.
Use your office wall, or find someone
who’ll let you use their wall, to project
your logo and business information.
Amazingly effective for
getting your brand
recognized and talked
about.
